Dusty Wallace

Central Ohio Media Professional  - Owner/Artist at WallaceCreative.net

On this page, you will find copies of my resumé, teaching certificate, and various other items that you may find beneficial.

Resources Below:

Technology Tutorials:

One of my responsibilities at Denison was the training end-users (faculty and staff) and student workers on campus technology. I have produced a number of video tutorials to help that process. A bulk of my material will be in the "Media Technology Tutorials" playlist that you see embedded below.

For student workers and other ITS technicians, I like to use services like Wistia's Soapbox, and go a little more in-depth with the training...

I spent 5 total years teaching vocal music, leading worship, and doing theatrical direction for Central College Christian Academy. Below is a sampler of some of my work with them.

Long Form Worship Demo

You'll notice on my resumé that I spent several years in vocational worship and creative arts ministry. Although this doesn't directly pertain to my current career path, it did help shape my comfort and application of AV technology as a whole, including understanding how different people (musicians, teachers, pastors, etc.) use it.

The Plugged In Church Podcast:

Another dive into my AV background was cohosting The Plugged In Church podcast Check out the show by clicking HERE and visiting our website!

Web & Social Media Management & Design:

You can check out some of the websites I've built and managed (including this one), as well as my social media feeds to see some of my work in this arena. In short, if I didn't take the picture or make the graphic you look at... I edited it in some way. That includes all of the pictures, videos, etc. on this site!

Other Professional Endeavors:

In March of 2016, I had the opportunity to be a studio musician for a project called The Evolution of Recording headed up by my friend Eric Van Wagner, an audio engineering professor at Otterbein University and GrooveU. Eric is in the process of writing a text book (under the project title), that is both history and pedagogy for students studying audio production. One of the features is recording original music at world-famous studios so students who buy the book can mix tracks from these famous places. Joshua Howey of Feikert Creative made the video below as a trailer of sorts for the session I was on. I played piano and B3 organ on the session, recorded at historic RCA Studio A in Nashville.
